Morrowind Utility : BSA Browser From the included HTML file :
This utility allows you to browse, pack, unpack, and register Bethesda
Softworks Archive (bsa) files with a user friendly interface. This
program was inspired by Ghostwheel's BSAPack (which the program uses
to perform 3 of the 4 functions mentioned), and Splender of the Ashlands'
BSA Reader, which are both command line utilities. BSA Browser is ideal
for those 'who get lost and panicky at the words "commandline".

Morrowind Utility : Wrye Mash Mash is a utility that is very good for cleaning saved game files that have doubling issues. It''s a must-have download! We have version 0.84 for you.
Taken from the included html file which you need to read.
Getting Started
Her's a brief getting started guide. You may have to read sections further down before this section makes full sense.
• Terminology: Package
• A "package" is a collection of esps, esms and/or resource files. Everything listed under the Installers tab is a package. Packages can be either archive files in (zip, 7z or rar format) or directories (aka Projects).
• Initialization
• When you first visit the Installers tab after starting Mash, Bain will need to go through an initialization process. If you've done this before, and no new packages are installed, and the machine is "warm", then it will take on the order of ten seconds.
• However, if you have just added a bunch of packages, then Bain will take longer to intitialize, since it will need to scan all new/modified packages.
• In particular, the first time you start Bain, it will take a long time (on the order of three to ten minutes) to initialize. Enjoy your coffee break. :D
• Reducing Init Times
• You can disable Bain entirely by unchecking "Enabled" in the column context menu on the Installers tab. (Note that this does not erase previously stored info. I.e. it's safe to disable Bain and then later re-enable it if you prefer.)
• You can choose to "Avoid on Startup" (again from column context menu). This will cause Mash to try to avoid the Installers tab when it starts up. And since Bain won't initialize until you visit the Installers tab, you'll save a bit of time if you weren't planning on visiting it anyway.
• Install Directory
• As noted below, Bain looks for packages in the Morrowind\Installers directory. Easiest way to get started with Bain is to just grab all your old mod archives and move them to the Installers directory. Then return to the Installers directory to see Bain's evaluation.
• If you're a modder with existing project directories, you can move those to the Installers directory too.
• Reviewing Package Status
• Some packages may be green, but most (even ones that you have previously installed) will likely be red. (Even if you have installed a package, Bain's Doc File Sweeping means that some files will be in unexpected places.
• For each package, you can select it, and then review its details in the Debug text box. In particular, look for Missing and Overridden files.
• You can intall package as desired (though you may want to change their order first.)
• For complex packages, you will likely want to configure their sub-packages before activating them.
• For packages with unrecognized structure (grey checkbox and name), you'll need to restructure the package's directories and files to something more like what Bain expects before you can install them.

Morrowind Utility : Morrowind Mod Maker's Manual Morrowind Mod Maker's Manual

Morrowind Utility : Frame Optimizer v2 Morrowind Frame Optimizer is a utility that increases the running speed of Morrowind. As a useful extra, it also allows you to see landmasses that are off the normal Morrowind map. We have version v2.0 for you.
Taken from the included Help file.
This is a new release of the Morrowind FPS Optimizer, originally written by Alexander Stasenko.
This release adds the following features to the game:
- It fixes the world map. You can now see land added by any mods anywhere on the map, since it now moves with the player. Bloodmoon (or Tribunal) not required; all known official EXEs are supported.
- Removing a plugin automagically removes the corresponding landscape from the map.
- Older versions of the game will no longer crash when adding land at the southern border of the map.
- True multimark support (8 slots available) (*)
- Companions are now able to follow you through any kind of recall or intervention spell
- Build your own intervention spells (modders resource) (**)
- Introduce your own additional Mark / Recall slots (modders resource) (**)
(*) Requires use of the supplied ESP file.
(**) Modders resource. Demo included in supplied ESP file.
This tool supports all official Morrowind versions; unlike using the Script Extender,
you are not forced to run the latest version of Bloodmoon. (Although you should
seriously consider to do so!)

Morrowind Utility : Morrowind Strategy Guide
Are you a novice to Morrowind? If the answer is 'yes' then this is
just the thing you've been looking for. This strategy guide will keep
you on track whilst adventuring in Morrowind with a host of hints, tips and
cheats. There's no longer any excuse for not completing Morrowind.
The guide comes in the form of a .pdf document contained in a .zip
file and is 2.5Mb in size.

Taken directly from the file.
New features
1) Change file type from ESM->ESP->ESS and vice-versa
2) "Find All" provides the Google-like ability to find all instances of a string in one or multiple files and list them all in a results table, then double click to go to a particular instance.
3) Browse references dialog now shows what you're browsing references FOR, which makes it less confusing.
4) Several improvements to the format template for better data interpretation.
5) More slight cosmetic changes to make it easier on the eyes and more consistent.
6) Tab order sorted out on all forms
7) ESC key now unloads most forms instead of having to click "Cancel"
8) Logic preventing you from saving changes to Morrowind.esm, Bloodmoon.esm and Tribunal.esm sorted out.
9) Still no help I'm afraid, but you're welcome to PM me (Farren) on either the Blueprint Forums or the Official TES forums ;)

Morrowind Utility : MWEdit From the included HTML file :
MWEdit is an alternate editor for the Elder Scrolls: Morrowind RPG from
Bethesda. While it is similar in appearance and design to the official
Construction Set editor, it introduces new features that make creating
plugins easier.
Top
Morrowind Utility : NIF Texture Taken from the included Helpfile.
NIFTexture is a simple program designed to allow you to modify the
textures used in NIF (NetImmerse) 3D model files. This allows you to
reuse existing models with new, custom textures. It was specifically
designed to work with The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind NIF files but may
work with NIF files for other games as well. The program cannot create
new NIF files and only allows the editing of the texture filenames.

Morrowind Utility : Morrowind Scripting for Dummies Quote from the manual regarding scripting :
What is a script?
Scripts are basically pieces of code written in a special scripting
language (I will call it TES script from here on). These little "programs"
will run during the game and can perform certain things in the game, lots
of things actually: Trigger events, control time and place, make things
and creatures vanish, appear or move, give messages to the player, change
stats, even change the weather - the possibilities are great.
TES Script is a unique scripting language, it is not used outside the
TES Construction Set. As a scripting language it has certain limitations
compared to a "real" programming language, like, e.g. C++
NOTE: This is considered to be the :Programmer's Bible: for serious modders.

A tutorial by Calishan on how to build a house using the TESCS (TES Construction Set).

Morrowind Utility : Morrowind Immersive Architect From the included HTML file :
The idea behind this tool is to utilize the Morrowind game
engine as a world building tool. It allows towns/citys to be built in-game
instead of using the construction set. Placeholder items are carried in
inventory, and are dropped on the ground to place building meshes in
the game world. When the town is built, save your game and use the
Morrowind Immersive Architect utility to copy your newly built city
into a plug-in file.
Top
Morrowind Utility : Morrowind Script Extender Morrowind Script Extender is a utility that extends Morrowind's basic scripting function. We have version 0.9.4 for you.
Taken from the included readme file.
The Morrowind Script Extender is a program designed to increase the features available to Morrowind scripters. When run with the game, it adds extra script functions, allowing the creation of plugins that are impossible or at least very difficult while running the game alone.
This version builds upon the 0.9.2 version from cdcooley, it only supports Morrowind version 1.6.1820 (Bloodmoon and GOTY versions).
For any support go to: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mwse, or PM Tp21, games1216(AnthonyG), or Fliggerty on the TES Forums.
The Morrowind Script Extender is free software, licensed according to the GNU Public License, and comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. See the file gpl.txt for details if you are interested in distributing or modifying the program.

Morrowind Utility : Dialog Tutorial From the included Help file :
This is a tutorial for developing dialogue in the TES Construction Set.
There are some existing tuts out there already, but none of them is purely
on dialogue; they combine dialogue with NPC creation and scripting
information. They also only cover a small portion of what's possible
with the dialogue interface in the CS. The goal of this tutorial is to
be comprehensive: it will cover pretty much everything you can do with
dialogue. It takes a step-by-step approach, introducing new concepts one
at a time, with several different examples of each before moving on

Morrowind Utility : Skin Tutorial Taken directly from the .CHM Help file :
This is a tutorial on reskinning or retexturing objects using Dave
Humphrey's utility, NifTexture. There are several good tutorials out
there which were written before reskinning utilities were available,
but there seems to be a need for a tutorial which covers how the process
works with a utility.

Morrowind Utility : Tesame Make sure you read the included ReadMe file and heed the warnings
therein. And here's what the developer has to say about it.
"TESAME cleans mods by physically chopping out information from
the ESP-file. I can't take any responsability for what might happen when
removing certain data. Always keep a backup."
This has to be one of the most important tools available to the modder,
if not THE most important.

Morrowind Utility : DDS Converter 2 DDS Converter is a utility that allows the conversion of files from DDS to TGA and vice versa . We have version 2.0 for you.
This archive comes as a self-extracting msi installation file. There is no included readme file with this archive.
Top
Morrowind Utility : Overunity Taken directly from the readme file.
You only see the mods you want to use, you can sort them by Name, Date, Author or
Size. You can remove any number of mods all at once, you can immediately activate
all mods used by a savegame and receive a report of missing mods, in case you''ve
re-installed Morrowind.(makes a text file for later reference)
You can even use a fuzzy-logic search to find multiple versions of a plugin! this
helps if you have a "battle_arena.esp" installed, along with a "BatleArena.esp",
this would immediately point out the possibility of a conflict. Now with
variable percentage of similarity! (beats eyeballing hundreds of mods for
similarities!! also makes a text file output for later reference)
You can also scan any number of mods all at once, receiving a report of all broken
file links, including Nif references to textures. (makes a text file for later reference by
the modder).
The modders will love this one, so far a good percentage of plugins are missing a
few files. I''ve added the ability to explore all files in use by a mod and
build an installation fully intact. You can choose not to include resources
from other plugins if your mod depends on these other plugins(install only what''s
yours in order to decrease archive size) via the Exclusive Scanner.
(makes a text file recording broken links in the .esp and associated .nif files)
Finally, you can check your plugins media references against all other plugins in your
Data Files directory with the Shared Resource scanner. This allows you to determine
whether the resources you''re using are the ones you intend to distribute.
Often a modder can get confused about which resources are unique to his/her mod
and this results in an oversized final product without knowing of compatibility issues.
Also as a result of the Shared Resource scanner, you can now thoroughly destroy any plugins
you no longer desire to keep!
DEFAULT MORROWIND RESOURCES ARE OVERLOOKED BY ALL SCANNERS/INSTALLATION BUILDERS!
THEY ARE COPYRIGHT TO BETHESDA AND NO-ONE MAY DISTRIBUTE THEM.
When you''re all ready to go, hit the "Play" button and it''ll run Morrowind!
(or the FPS optimizer if installed).

Morrowind Utility : Skinner From the included ReadMe file :
I'd been playing with the TES Construction set
for a week or so and had made so many mistakes
trying to re-skin using a Hex editor I thought
'There must be an easier way'. There wasn't.
Rather than moan about it I thought I'd use
my VB skills to make an easier way.
What does this program do?
It allows you to load a mesh (.nif) from
the TESCS CD, tells you the textures used,
allows you to rename the mesh and textures
then copies them to the relevant directories
in your Morrowind installation.

Morrowind Utility : BookGen From the included HTML file :
BookGen is a limited text editor that provides a quick and easy method
of generating HTML source code for use with Morrowind books. No prior
knowledge of HTML is required. Simply type in your text and click
convert or export, and BookGen does the rest.

Morrowind Utility : GMST Cleaner From the included HTML file :
The accompanying archive (zip) file must be extracted to the
C:Program Files directory. Due to some unexpected limitations with
the code, certain folders and files must have a specific location;
changing or moving these files will result in the program not working.
To avoid any confusion, I have named the zip file Extract to Program Files.

Morrowind Utility : TESfaith From the included HTML file :
TESfaith is a utility to Move, Copy or Delete cells stored in a TES3
file (such as Morrowind: Elder Scrolls III). It also processes the
landscape and all objects associated with that cell. e.g. if you make
a copy of a region or cell (internal or external) then all objects
(NPCs, statics such as furniture, lighting, sound) will be copied with
it. Likewise if you move a cell all objects will be moved with it.

Morrowind Utility : TES Faith Sharp Taken from the included readme file.
TESFaith was a utility written by Paul Halliday (aka Lightwave,) that
can be used to move/copy/delete individual cells, entire regions or
the contents of whole plugins. Unfortunately it was a console application,
and a lot of the otherwise great modders over at the elder scrolls forums
wouldn't know what a dos prompt was if it bit them. So I bring you all
TESFaith#: TESFaith with a spangaly new GUI, nice big easy to use buttons
and about 10x the memory usage. Enjoy.
WARNING: This is a _BETA_ version. Most of the code is a direct port
of the original TESFaith, but I make no guarantee’s that I haven't
buggered something up while porting it.
This is a .NET application. You need .NET v1.1 to run it. Download
either from windows update, or from this oversized url:

Morrowind Utility : Max-SceneImmerse Max-SceneImmerse is a manual that gives you information on how to produce content using 3D Studio Max.
Taken from the manual.
Welcome to MaxImmerse! This manual gives you information, hints, and tips on how to produce great content using 3D Studio Max, the MaxImmerse plugin, and NetImmerse, while avoiding choices that 3D Studio Max allows you to make but may slow your real-time content down. The manual provides background information useful for you to decide about geometric limitations, graphics card compatibilities, which visual effects work best with others and translate from Max to NetImmerse, and the best way to achieve an overall pleasing result. To Maximize your ability to create great content, it is a good idea to read the Artist’s Manual cover to cover, but it is also useful for quick reference. So let’s go.

Morrowind Utility : Shack Replacer The version of the mod here is : Shack Replacer
1. DESCRIPTION
This mod is a simple texture replacer to change the look of the peasanty shacks that
are found in poor, coastal towns in Morrowind - like Seyda Neen.
This will replace the textures on the walls, doors and ceiling of common shacks. It also replaces the heavy rope texture which is used in a number of places (including shacks). It also replaces the texture for common wicker baskets, often found in common shacks.
And part of the wooden beams used in common docks.
And also one of the metal strip textures, which is used on the shack hook and also some chests, I think.
Not much else to be said really. The texture resolutions are double that of stock
Morrowind's and are all in DDS format so it's not particularly high-end nor particularly low-end.
It's also my first release. *Grin*
2. Installation
Installation is simple, put the 17 files located in the texture folder of this
archive into the texture folder which is inside the data files folder which is
located wherever you installed Morrowind.
...Bethesda SoftworksMorrowindData FilesTextures
There is also a folder inside the archived textures folder called 'Originals(NoMipMaps)', if you don't know what mipmaps are than just ignore this folder. It contains the textures with mipmaps not present - these will be sharper and more detailed but may also cause artifacts and distortion, depending on how your computer is set up. Most people will not want to use these.
If you want to use these, install the normally and then install the originals, overwriting those which you don't want mipmapped. It's important to install the standard set of textures first.

Downloadable Morrowind Clothing Catalog.
Here's a quote from the site:
While working on my Morrowind mod in the Construction Set, I found
it difficult to remember what the clothing items looked like. Dressing
a new NPC was just guesswork. You can't even use the Editor's Preview
window since it shows the garments folded up. So I created a reference
guide, "Klinn's Morrowind Clothing Catalog". It's an MS Word 97 document
with thumbnail images of each item along with its ID code.
This catalog is good for seeing what each piece of clothing looks like
in Morrowind. Quite handy when you're deep within the Construction Set
and can't remember what a particular shirt looks like.
