The Khajiit Shield : a modded shield for The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind
I've been playing around with 3dsmax for a few days after doing a couple of the
tutorials. I decided to jump in at the deep end and try modding a shield, so I looked
for one that I never found in the game and came up with the Eleidon's Ward. This is a
nice looking shield with a picture of what looks like an owl on it. I thought this
might be the one to try and mod. Looking at the texture and imagining how it might look
if it was morphed a bit, I saw that it could be made to look something like a cat -
perfect for my Khajiit warrior.
Because I wanted the image morphed, that meant I would need to mod the mesh as opposed
to doing a retexture - a good way to get started with modding armour and weapons, I
thought.
So, here it is, together with a pic of the original on the left.
