Hey, I really hope someone can help me - I can't complete a quest I'm working on (just FYI; it's from the "Havish" mod) because I need to get a specific rumour, and it won't come up... In fact, the only rumour I ever get must have come from some other mod - it's "The rumor mill is running that you are a bad man. Grr..." Not really as funny as the author probably intended. Can anyone tell me how to make that rumour stop coming up (and, sadly, I have no clue which mod it came from, and I run a lot d'oh! ) or how to force someone to give me the rumor I need?

really appreciate any help - thanks!

Matt

That's not possible as far as I know. The rumours are a set of topics that come up for certain characters. You can't delete them, and you can't force a character to tell you a rumour he has no access to.

You will need to go into the CS and search for the rumour, then find it in the character dialog screen. Look through the dialogue conditions for a character that has that rumour.

If you can't use the CS at all, then I'm afraid you're stuck. Or try some of my morrowind CS tutorials on the main website.

I think I'm stuck. I can use the CS, but not very well. Howqever, I've discovered that I can't save changes to Havish, as it's an ESM, not an ESP, file - or is it the other way round?
